United States :

Does it matter to you? Did it change your opinion of his qualifications? Let’s think about this. Because it’s all over the news and I’ve listened, but now it’s my turn to discuss it.

First of all, can you take someone - anyone - put them in a suit, surround them with the press (and cameras) put them on a plane and headed for the Middle East thinking that this will make them qualify for being President of The United States?

Uhhh, nope.

All this extended trip really turns out to be a photo op. An attempt to somehow endow Obama with international experience and foreign policy credentials that add up to nothing.

I am listening to Karl Rove right now. He is talking about how McCain’s advantage over Obama in the foreign policy realm is 46% among voters. That’s hefty, and if I were on Obama’s team, I’d be scared about that number as well.

And let’s not forget that Obama’s trip was only inspired by a challenge from McCain in the first place... and if someone else has to tell you that seeing the war zone with your own two eyes before you become POTUS, well, that speaks for itself. Had McCain never brought it up, Obama would have never went.

Obama is an opportunistic juvenile who is obsequeous at his best. He is still a rookie at best. If he were to be elected, it is not himself who will preside in the oval office. It will be the the handlers who preside over government. He will be just a front man reading from a script handed to him, just like a puppet.

God bless you for seeing the truth. Far too many are blind and stupid.

As a follow up. I have heard that, N.Y.Times has refuse McCains Oped was refused because it was not formulated to reflect what Obama wanted in the aspect of troop removals via ”time table” unconditionally. No one in his right mind would do that. The clear action would be to withdraw with conditions applicable to the peace and stability of Iraq. Otherwise it would be like a very bad surgery and recovery to the ”patient”. Also, It is not the honorable thing to do.

You were listening to Rove while you wrote this? No wonder!

Did you tell the man to go and answer Congress?

Karl Rove, dirty as he may be, is at least, smarter than Obama, Rudolf. I used to be a Democrat and I used to detest Rove. But seeing now that Dems are no better (just as dirty as Republicans) than the standard for judging Rove has changed.

Dems are failing the people horribly. They have nominated a man that I cannot vote for. This is not the first time, look at how badly they went wrong with Kerry in 2004. I’ve had it with Democrats and am now an Independent. And yes, I WILL vote McCain this Fall.

This trip to the Middle East was a mistake for Obama, as has created for itself a situation where it is impossible to escape the criticism.

Yes, Celso, it just highlights his lack of experience in foreign policy and it’s no contest against McCain in this department.

Very very Good! Next time i hope you guys won’t say Obama knows nothing about foreign affairs.
The so-called McCains of this world gained experiece in a similar way-foreign trips and mission engagements.
Obama does not need to be a war hero like McCain to know what is good for America and the world.
It takes ambition, political wit and most importantly a desire for a better world ( one without unnecessary wars created by people like Bush and McCain), for a man like Obama to stand up to our faces and say...hey! its time for change.
Just one more thing! Stop blaming Obama blindly. The current Americal political set up doesn’t stop any capable American from vying for the top spot. Crystal and micheal wake up. The Americans voted Bush even after calling him all sorts of names. Infact Bush had no much knowledge about the rest of the world. A ’fictitious president’ they called him and a gain they voted for him for a second term.
So far the worst person to ever come into office with no slightest idea about foreign policy is Bush- the man who adressed the Canadian Prime minister as President.
”I’m the master of low expectations. I’m also not very analytical. You know I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about myself, about why I do things.” — Bush aboard Air Force One, June 4, 2003

“Free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don’t attack each other. Free nations don’t develop weapons of mass destruction.” America has over 10, 000 nuclear war heads.

“I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we’re really talking about peace,”...This is the president Americans voted twice.

Of the Reps and Dems who has done worse when comes to fronting a candidate?
Kerry failed and the Reps fronted a stupid one. Atleast Obama hasn’t been in the white house!

My concern with Obama is that until now he has been vague in his statements on how he would relate to the Mercosur countries. It is known that the Republicans are better for Brazil because they defend free trade; in the other hand, the Democrats defend agricultural subsidies.
